Oral rinses can be helpful for a variety of dental issues
Swishing a liquid rinse in your mouth can do many things for your oral health. There are many types of rinses designed for specific purposes. They range from simple mouthwashes that fight bad breath to ones that contain fluoride. There are also special types that fight plaque and gum disease. Oral rinses are not a substitute for brushing and flossing your teeth. They’re also not generally recommended for children.
For all dental rinses, make sure you don’t swallow! This is a rinse-and-spit situation.
Your dentist can suggest what oral rinses would be best for you.
